My idea of the perfect birthday party is a pizza party.  It's my all time favorite food, I could eat it everyday.  There's so many different ways to make pizza here's just a small collection of pizza recipes that I hope you'll enjoy.  And since your birthday is the one special day of the year that is all yours,  I wish you a wonderful one with many more to come.

English Muffin Pizzas

1 Package of English Muffins

1 Jar Pizza Sauce

Parmesan cheese, grated

2 Cups mozzarella cheese, shredded

Toppings, Italian sausage (cooked), Pepperoni, Mushrooms, Onions, Whatever you like

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.  Split each English muffin and place halves on baking sheet cut side up. Spread pizza sauce on each muffin, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese, top with Mozzarella cheese and your favorite toppings.  Bake in oven for 10 - 15 minutes or until cheese is melted and slightly browned.

Spicy Pizza Bake

1 lb. Bulk Italian sausage

1/2 Cup chopped onion

1/4 Cup chopped Green pepper

1 - 15 oz. - Can tomato sauce

1/2 Cup sliced ripe olives

2 Tblsp. Bisquick © baking mix

2 Cups Shredded Mozzarella cheese

1 Cup Bisquick © baking mix

1 Cup Milk

2 eggs

1/4 Cup grated Parmesan cheese

Heat oven to 425 degrees.  Cook and stir sausage, onion and green pepper until brown, drain. Stir in tomato sauce, olives and the 2 Tblsp. of baking mix.  Heat to boiling, stirring frequently. Boil and stir for 1 minute.  Pour into a 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan, sprinkle with mozzarella cheese.  Beat 1 cup baking mix, the milk and eggs until smooth (a blender works great), pour over mozzarella. Sprinkle with Parmesan and bake until a deep golden brown, about 20 minutes.

Skillet Pan Pizza

Crust:                                        Sauce:                                        

2 Tblsp. butter or margarine        1 - 8 oz. - Can tomato sauce        

1 2/3 Cup all-purpose flour         1 - 6 oz. - Can tomato paste      

2 tsp. Sugar                                1 tsp. Basil leaves                          

2 tsp. Baking Powder                 1/2 tsp Oregano

1/2 tsp. Salt                                1/4 tsp. Pepper

2/3 Cup Milk                              1/2 tsp. minced fresh garlic

Heat oven to 425 degrees.  In a 10" oven proof skillet melt butter in oven, 3-4 minutes. Meanwhile, in a medium bowl stir together all crust ingredients except the milk.  Stir in milk just until moistened.  On lightly floured surface knead dough until smooth, about 1 minute.  Press dough on bottom and halfway up sides of skillet with the melted butter.  Bake for 10 minutes. Meanwhile, in a small bowl stir together all the sauce ingredients.  Spread tomato sauce over partially baked crust.  Sprinkle with 1 1/2 cups Mozzarella cheese and your favorite toppings. Return to oven and continue baking for 15 to 20 minutes or until heated through and cheese is melted.

Mexican Pizza

1 1/2 Cups Bisquick © baking mix

1/2 Cup yellow cornmeal

1/2 Cup cold water

1 lb. ground beef

1 envelope of Taco seasoning mix

3/4 Cups water

1 - 16 oz. - Can refried beans

1 1/2 Cups Shredded Cheddar cheese

1 Cup shredded lettuce

2 Medium tomatoes, chopped

1/2 cup chopped onions

Heat oven to 425 degrees.  Grease a 12" pizza pan.  Mix baking mix, cornmeal and 1/2 cup cold water until soft dough forms, beat vigorously 20 strokes.  Pat dough in pan with floured hands, forming 1/2" rim.  Bake 10 minutes.  Meanwhile, cook and stir ground beef until brown, drain. Stir in Taco seasoning mix and 3/4 cup water.  Heat to boiling, stirring frequently, reduce heat and simmer, uncovered for 5 to 10 minutes.  Spread  beans over partially baked crust, top with beef mixture and sprinkle with cheese, bake 10 minutes longer.  Top with lettuce, tomatoes and onion. Serve with taco sauce if desired.
